Thursday Demo – Rubber Stamp Tapestry

I am: a Christian, a widow, a mother, and a grandmother. ART is what drives me: playing my guitar, taking pictures, in my studio amidst ink, paint & stamps... I am lost in another place. Time stands still. Elusive joy lands on my shoulder, a bird whispering the sweetest song from heaven to earth.

Creating Lasting Memories, the retail store, is gone. But what remains and will certainly never be forgotten is a million wonderful art moments with friends.

The classes - so fun and messy. All those special events (Spring Fling, National Scrapbooking Day, World Cardmaking Day, Scrap Pink, 12 Tags of Christmas) where we created memories together - so precious to me now. And my volunteers who gave so generously of their time and talent and even put up with bunny ears!

And just the everyday weekly stuff like the Make 'n Takes, Friday Night Crops and what seems like endless demos - all treasures to be remembered.

Creating Lasting Memories may evolve into another business. I have kept the name. Once I get rooted and grounded up here in Portland, Oregon, I may do something else with it. When and if that happens, I will announce it here.
